As a self-professed Food Safety Geek, Ray shares his passion for food safety as an EHS Manager at a large-scale operation in the heart of Seattle, Washington. Ray has over 25 years of food safety experience in government and industry roles. Ray served as a Retail Food Safety Program Lead, Training Officer, and Shellfish Program Enforcement Lead in government roles. He served as a voting member at the 2023 Conference for Food Protection. In industry roles, he served as a Food Safety & Quality Assurance Manager and a Food Safety & Sanitation Manager. Ray holds Registered Sanitarian/Environmental Health Specialist licenses in Washington, Arizona, and Nevada.
